It is a great site to get lowest items. I got introduced to Camera Camera via slickdeals.net and seems like everyone likes this site alot. My camera arrived ontime and in a good condition. The way they wrap and send it is appropriate. It's not like others site just wrap it in a plastic bag and then all the items inside got broken. I like this site , and will keep using it to purchase my SD cards and another camera.

What an awesome camera! We were looking to "graduate" to an SLR camera from our original digital camera. A friend of ours had this fantastic camera that took wonderful pictures that we were always envious of. When I decided to purchase a camera for my husband, I asked our friend what type he had, thinking it was a very expensive and elaborate camera but it turns out it was the older version of the D3100. I had positive reviews and done a lot of research on this camera before asking our friend what type he had so when I found out that the D3100 was the newer model, it was a no brainer to buy. My husband usually returns everything I buy for him but when he saw this camera (and knowing that his was better than his friends) he was thrilled to have it. We have only had it for a few weeks but the pictures are clear and crisp with vivid colors. It's very easy to use without lots of gadgets to confuse the novice photographer. I would highly recommend this camera to someone who is looking for a good quality, easy to use SLR camera!

.I  loved my shopping experience with cameta. buying a camera online can be dangerous, especially if a site that looks legit gives you the bait-and-switch.

After reading a lot of really horrible reviews of other online stores, my co-worker told me about cameta. i did a phone order since i had a few questions about what i found in their eBay store, and the rep i spoke with, Glenn, was so helpful and polite. he made sure that they actually had the camera i wanted in stock before he ran my order through, and didn't try to push any other accessories on me.

What a wonderful ebay experience! I purchased a Nikon D70 kit and have been extremely pleased with the customer service as well as the fast shipping and professional attitude I have encountered with Cameta Camera.

While I am aware of a long list of positive comments with Cameta Camera, I feel obliged to share with you my own, negative, experience with this merchant: I have purchased Nikon D1X camera package for $3,999.00.

Cameta accepted and deposited my immediate payment few minutes after the purchase. However, my new camera was not delivered as promised. It came in 8 days, rather than in 3 days, which I would gladly overlookl. But my camera arrived without Nikon Capture Software code necessary to unlock my 30-day trial version to its permanent status. Without this code you cannot download and process high resolution photos nor can you use your camera to its full potential. As a result, your new top-of-the-line piece of expensive equipment becomes - qualitywise - unusable. I thought to myself: "No problem, one simple phone call to Cameta Camera will solve this misplacement of paperwork" I was wrong...

For the next 6 months I made many dozens of phone-calls to Cameta personnel. I was given all sort of run-arounds from whoever answered the phone. Even Cameta Camera sold me the camera, they told me they cannot help me. Their unwilligness to go out-of-their way to satisfy their clients, and / or to stand behind their product should be known to all potential Cameta Camera customers. Be aware of dealing with merchants like Cameta Camera who take your money - and run. Product was sold by C.Ratto, then I dealt with Leah, Sherri, and "Gerry".

Many didn't tell me their name; many times I was put on hold till I had to hung up due to the lenght of waiting on across-the-country long distance call (..paid for by me..). Consequently, I had to use my own resources to obtain a copy of this software. Being in business myself, I do everything possible to satisfy my clients. I expect the same from others, especially if 4K purchase is involved. In case of Cameta Camera - it was only a matter of one simple phone call to Nikon, few city blocks away from the store, to clear the confussion. Even this simple task - Cameta Camera failed. I feel necessary to share this negative experience with others to prevent this from happenning again.

I placed the order for a Nikon D70 with extra lenses and CF card on mon morning. The sales Rep, Bob Klein was very, very honest and helpful. he did offer my and extended warranty, but I declined and he never asked again.  
 
Their prices were the best I could find from a reputable store, and I did look for some time.  
 
I asked for overnight shipping, and they quoted me an excellent rate , just 38 bucks. I checked with UPS, and this was exactly the right amount. They didnt overcharge me at all.  
 
Their packagaing job was great, everything was well insulated.  
 
Everyting arrived on time with absolutely no hiccups.  
 
I would definitely reccomend this store to everyone.

After getting dicked around by ExpressCameras.com (Don't ever trust or do business with EC) I decided to try Cameta after finding this site. Damn good choice. Have ordered more items from after the initial purchase.  
 
eBay auction listing - Canon 20D with 17-85 IS USM, 1 Gb 133x memory, CF reader, no nome battery and case for about 2K with shipping about 20$.  
 
Called to do some background checking and found to be helpful. Not bubbly happy, but answered everything I asked with no run around. Polite and reasonable accessory or add on (upsell?) questions with NO hard sell.  
 
Camera shipped a day earlier than promised (UPS Tracking number mailed to me) and arrived in about three days. Well packed. Quickly hit canon web site to check if grey market - camera and lens true USA new stock. Camera bag was on back order - whoopie ding dong. Just received e-mail bag has shipped to arrive Wed.  
 
Good to better prices.
